The Smoking Goat is a small and cozy bistro style neighborhood restaurant.

The Smoking Goat serves up French & American countryside fare using highest quality meat, and local produce.  Our service is casual.  We carry a carefully chosen beer and wine list at a range of price points.   The small space offers a most unique and enjoyable experience to our guests.

About the name

The Smoking Goat name is a name we created to portray rustic cuisine with foods coming directly from the farms. We believe the guest experience should be simple, delicious, and within it offer a sense of depth and history with new and modern sensibilities.

Reservations

At this time, The Smoking Goat does not accept reservations.  Instead, we do “call ahead seating”.  The guest calls in the night of, we will hold a table for 15 minutes if available, or let the guest know when a table will be ready.  We are happy to call a cell phone when the table is ready.

Due to our size, parties of 6 or more are difficult to seat, especially Friday or Saturday Night. Please contact us if you are interested in renting out the entire restaurant for your party or event for 15-30 people. (It would be the perfect location for a rehearsal dinner!)
